voice-text ("we", "the service") lets you record a voice note, transcribe it, and rewrite the transcript into different written formats. This page explains what we collect and why. We aim to collect as little as possible.
What we collect
- Audio recordings. The audio you record or upload is stored so it can be transcribed and so you can revisit a note. It is associated with your account (or your anonymous browser session before you sign in).
- Transcripts and generated outputs. The transcribed text and any rewritten versions (email, note, action items, etc.) are saved to your account.
- Account data. If you sign in, we store your email address to authenticate you via a magic link. If you subscribe, our payment processor (Stripe) stores your billing details; we keep only a customer/subscription reference, never card numbers.
- Usage metering. We record how many minutes of audio you transcribe each month to enforce plan limits.
How your content is processed
Audio is transcribed using a speech-to-text model, and transcripts are rewritten using a large language model accessed through our infrastructure providers (Cloudflare Workers AI for transcription and OpenRouter for rewriting). Your content is sent to these providers only to perform the transcription and rewrite you requested.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data. We don't use your recordings or transcripts to train our own models.
Data deletion
You can delete any note from within the app, which removes its transcript and generated outputs. To delete your account and associated data, contact us.
